In the framework of EBSOMED project and the MedaWeek Barcelona 2021, ASCAME and its affiliates will implement the Online BSO Management Academy "MedaWomen: Knowledge is power" to be held on November 19, 2021.

This event will take place one year after the third edition, which took place in November 2020, within the framework of Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders. It will be a capacity building and experience sharing training webinars between business support organisations (BSOs) from affiliated partners to the EBSOMED project and associated partners from ASCAME’s network.

The objective of this Academy is to create synergies and to develop a fruitful cooperation between the EU and south Mediterranean region. Organized in the framework of the XV Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders (MedaWeek), the Academy will have the chance to make important and sustainable relations between the BSOs involved in the actions, permitting the exchange of experience and practices in internationalization and opening new avenues for dialogue and cooperation.

The objectives of the academy are:

  • Provide training for capacity enhancing services to BSOs
  • Improve the competences and the quality of BSOs
  • Build a large, robust and efficient BSO network among the EuroMed region
  • Create synergies and facilitate the BSOs participation
  • Increase visibility for individual activities (i.e Academies) as well as for the EBSOMED project, at large
  • Maximize business exchanges and develop fruitful cooperation between BSOs in their day-to-day development
  • Share and spread good practices and success stories surrounding North/South cooperation

Concretely, over 1 day, online webinars will take place and will improve the capacity of BSO through targeted training seminars. The webinars will consist of several strategic topics, and each formation will be conducted by one or more experts. Sessions will have different formats (conferences, debates, round tables, etc.) and content, which will be composed of theoretical expositions, practical exercises and a presentation, in which participants will be able to share their experiences and to also adopt good practices to apply later on their own, all while networking with Mediterranean actors with similar interests.

  • Income Generation and Services (Vocational trainings, SMEs Support services, Internationalization)
  • Governance for PPP models
