COVID-19 is disrupting businesses across the globe in unprecedented ways. In the framework of the EBSOMED project and as part of BUSINESSMED call to action’s webinar series on Building Back Resilience, a first BSO Management Academy under the theme "Connecting business initiatives response to COVID-19: transforming the private sector engagement through SDGs" will be held on October 22, 2020 in collaboration with Employers organisation members to BUSINESSMED.

The webinar will explore how COVID-19 had disrupted businesses across the world and the unfamiliar challenges that have come with it, with a focus on the private sector’s response to COVID-19 in a way that aligns with the SDGs.

The objectives of the webinar are:

• Open-up the discussion with Employers and Private sector representatives on the challenges they are facing due to the COVID-19 crisis
• Invite Employers to join the Private Sector COVID-19 Facility
• Share bold actions put in place by private sector in response to COVID-19
• Share resources and best practices that can be used by the private sector to address the challenges posed by COVID-19 and how they should embed the SDGs into their interventions
