As part of the EBSOMED project, BUSINESSMED is launching a call for experts with significant expertise in various fields of relevance within the Euro-Mediterranean region, such as social and economic development, internationalisation, technology transfer, innovation, as well as women and youth empowerment, sustainable development and circular economies.
Duties and Responsibilities (For each of the above-mentioned areas of expertise)
- Identify the relevant structural indicators of the field
- Explore different models and analyse quality and efficiency in the countries of the region/political context and implications
- Analyse their progress and prospects
- Analyse best practices and new business models to be replicated
- Produce scenarios and projections, taking into account national strategies
- Make clear suggestions for stakeholders and decision makers to improve the trend and make it converge with the economies of the region

Expert profile
- At least a Master's degree in relevant fields, with extensive experience (minimum 6 years) in one of the fields mentioned above
- Extensive experience in the specific field to be covered
- Strong experience in practical research and knowledge capture, project management
- Strong track record in conducting surveys at national and regional levels
- Experience in conducting monitoring studies at national and regional levels
- Good analytical and quantitative skills with experience in survey methodology
- Fluency in written and spoken English and French is required
- Ability to design and develop prospective studies and scenarios
- Ability to develop surveys, reports and policy documents
- Experience working with different countries in the Euro-Mediterranean region is an advantage
