The health crisis, the climate imperative and the latest IPCC report, the war in Eastern Europe, all these phenomena are accelerating economic dynamics, some of which have already been at work for several years.

They promote a need to shorten supply chains, to develop circularity approaches within value chains, and to localise the economy. This dynamic could encourage greater integration of economic value chains within the Europe-Mediterranean area, and a certain relocation of value chains within this geographical area.

Within the framework of the EBSOMED project, ANIMA Investment Network, through the BSO Management Academy "Prospecting relocations in the context of new Mediterranean value chains", which it is organising from 22 to 24 June 2022 in Tunis, Tunisia, wishes to reflect on the implications of these issues, and to embark on a practical exercise of elaborating strategies to accompany these dynamics: to identify the companies to be attracted to this movement, to build an argument to engage them, and to reflect on how to integrate them into these new value chains.

Through a series of networking sessions, dialogue with economists and business leaders, and collective intelligence workshops, our objective is to enable each participant to leave these days with a clearer understanding of these issues, and with ideas to adapt and prepare.
