Within the framework of the EBSOMED project, BUSINESSMED is organising on 7 October 2022 in Nicosia, Cyprus, the EU Med Roadshow "Mediterranean Green Growth Opportunities" on the margins of the Ninth Environment for Europe Ministerial Conference on "Sustainable Infrastructure, Sustainable Tourism and Education for Sustainable Development" designed and implemented from 5 to 7 October 2022 by the Unit of Education for Environment and Sustainable Development of the Cyprus Ministry of Education Sports and Youth, in collaboration with the international animation festival of animafest Cyprus.

As the climatic threats are notably growing, the topic we’re addressing will be an opportunity for the EFE participants to define common grounds and innovative solutions to foster green transition. The side event aims to be a space to share expertise, facts and build inclusive processes to tackle these problems. Our speakers will holistically create point out issues in the transition process, benefits of the acceleration of the green transition and the different opportunities for the SMEs & corporate in the Mediterranean.

This session will discuss ideas and policy directions for green growth in Mediterranean countries, in light of the changes in the global economy that was already underway but have become more significant by the recent events.

Furthermore, we are going to highlight the opportunity for stakeholders and investors in the migration to sustainable economy therefore the influence for future business practices. This will be an opportunity to explore and expose recommendations to accelerate the transition to the green economy in the Mediterranean area.
