Within the framework of the EBSOMED project, ANIMA Investment Network in partnership with Business France organized a workshop on project development management and fundraising in Greece from the 23 to 25 January 2019.

The workshop was conceived as 12 day training, divided into 4 seminars. The first seminar took place in Athens, Greece and aimed to adopt a pedagogical rhythm based on the alternation between theory and practice between individual and collective work in order to promote the acquisition of knowledge.

13 BSO managers from 5 different countries (Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Cypriot and Greece) participated during this event where courses were given by International cooperation practitioners, university professors and qualified and experienced consultants.

Participants had the opportunity to work in groups to draft and analyze issues then conduct an action plan to be transferred to their project ideas. Several topics were example to presentations including the Euro-Med Business Ecosystem and ways to promoting more inclusive economic growth and job creation.

The EBSOMED workshop allowed participants to learn about project management, fundraising strategies, and to apply the skills and tools gained to change an existing challenge to a successful project idea.
