As part of the EBSOMED project, ANIMA organized an academy dedicated to the dematerialization of business start-up procedures. This training course was held from May 3 to 5, 2023 in Rabat, Morocco, with the aim of promoting high-quality digital tools and services to improve the efficiency of the strategies of the organizations concerned, including those of the European Union.

This second module of the cycle was hosted by the Agence Marocaine de Développement des Investissements et des Exportations (AMDIE), which also organized a field study visit. Over three intense days, executives from economic development organizations from various Mediterranean countries such as Egypt, France, Greece, Malta, Morocco and Tunisia came together.

Participants benefited from intensive learning focused on the dematerialization of business start-up procedures. This approach consists of digitizing and automating the various stages in the process of setting up a business, in order to simplify administrative formalities and speed up processing times. The focus was on the use of digital tools to improve activities in areas such as strategy, customer relations, communication, impact measurement, business negotiation and administrative procedures.

Their contributions provided in-depth knowledge and expertise in their respective fields, enriching the participants'; experience. The executives also shared their experiences and best practices in digitizing business processes in their respective countries.

During this EBSOMED Academy, participants were also made aware of the challenges involved in implementing dematerialization, as well as data security and protection issues. Collective intelligence workshops were organized to help participants implement dematerialization within their organization.

The training concluded with a study visit to the Agence de Développement du Digital, which plays a central role in Morocco's digital transformation. This agency is responsible for implementing the national digital development strategy and promoting digital tools. During the visit, the agency presented the actions undertaken within the framework of its missions, focusing on the promotion of digital administration and the establishment of a normative framework for digital products and services.
