After Spending more than 10 years in different Sales and Marketing Positions, within leading multinational IT companies like IBM and Microsoft, I decided to go for my own project and built Digitalis, which is a Consultancy and Training Company specialized in Digital Management.
The idea was born since Digital Transformation has increasingly became a major trend, dramatically impacting all businesses, with the insight that not all companies are prepared for it, and not all of them know how to build the right strategy to transform.
The idea came at the right timing, not too early and not too late, which I consider one of the most important success factors. I had also invested in my personal readiness to fulfill the job, it’s true that I have been inside out all the solutions and technologies that are the enablers of digital transformation, but that was not enough, I had to complete the strategic thinking block, and understand the full impact of digitalization on the whole value chain of the company, understand the new business models, master the customer experience, know the impact on the human resources, the cultural change, the agility required to drive it…
Getting the first customer reference was not easy at all and striving to have more needed a big deal of resilience and tenacity.
In addition, having a clear strategic vision of the project was key to drive its success, in fact complementing the consultancy business with the training activity was an important enabler to the sales strategy.
It was with great pleasure that I shared my experience with all the participants that took part of the Roadshow organised by BUSINESSMED in the framework of EBSOMED project which I hope that provided the audience with valuable insights into AI and the global transformation generated by the Digital Sector.
