BUSINESSMED & MEA organised the Workshop on EU Projects Development "Successfully Design & Lead a multi-partner Project"
In the framework of EBSOMED, BUSINESSMED and Malta Employers’ Association – MEA, organized, on 20 September 2019, in Malta, a workshop on EU Projects Development under the theme "Successfully Design and Lead a multi-partner Project", a Certified Training Course aiming at improving capacity to develop and implement international cooperation projects in the Mediterranean.
The training course was arranged in cooperation with Welcomeurope who acts as an independent organisation that provides training on European and international ground and was conceived around sessions and working groups on designing and leading a multi-partner project.
The workshop aimed to increase knowledge on EU rules, obligations of the leader and the partners and to provide participants with the skills to manage European projects. The course included as well methods to learn about best practices, to organize the project work, to manage the project partnership and get the fundamentals of Project and financial management.
After an interactive self-presentation roundtable, the trainees worked on a real call for proposal case study, see the project ERASMUS + and namely one of its dimensions, "The Knowledge Alliance". They were first asked to write a project idea on an Index Card and select top 3 project ideas. After conceiving a problem tree as well as the objective tree, participants pitched the best project ideas and worked on building around a shared and common vision.
The day ended with the distribution of attendance certificates to all the trainees. Overall, the workshop provided the participants with a solid knowledge of how to effectively use the key tools to meet the specific EU regulations and to bring their project to a successful end.
