CAWTAR BSO Management Academy - E-learning Course "Introduction to setting up development projects"
CAWTAR BSO Management Academy - E-learning Course "Introduction to setting up development projects"
In the framework of the EBSOMED project, CAWTAR develops the BSO Management Academy "Introduction to Setting up Development Projects", an online course hosted on the CAWTAR e-learning platform.
The general objective of the training is to strengthen the capacity of members and staff of business support organisations (BSOs) in project development.
At the end of the training, learners will have:
- assimilated the terminology of development project formulation
- discovered the fundamentals of the results-based management approach (RBM)
- strengthened their knowledge of development project formulation
- familiarised themselves with the stages and specificities of budgeting for a development project
Donor funding is crucial as it helps BSOs to implement their project ideas in order to better serve their members and target groups. In order to access these funds, a well-written proposal is needed to be considered by potential donors. The results of a project must be communicated effectively through a proposal. Therefore, BSOs need to be able to develop high quality proposals to ensure that project ideas are implemented.
This online course provides an overview of best practices in project writing. The experts will use the experiential learning cycle methodology (concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualisation, active experimentation/practical exercise) to design the e-content.
