BUSINESSMED / Promos Italia BSO Management Academy - How to Foster Internationalisation Exploiting Digital Marketing Tools
Within the framework of the EBSOMED project, Promos Italia, in collaboration with BUSINESSMED, will implement the online BSO Management Academy « How to Foster Internationalisation Exploiting Digital Marketing Tools », on 14 and 15 November 2022.
The pandemic has accelerated the digital transition of SMEs, especially in the field of internationalisation. SMEs can benefit from several digital opportunities to continue exporting and/or to reshape their business model.
In this context, the services of business support organisations (BSOs) also need to be redesigned to meet the new challenges of digital exporting. To this end, the BSOs Management Academy will provide BSO managers with the tools and knowledge to interface with businesses and ensure that they can apply digital marketing to attract international customers, combining theoretical and practical learning through an interactive and laboratory approach.
Through its methodology, it will enable officials to put into practice digital marketing tools and strategies to provide support services to SMEs and exploit digitalisation for successful exporting.
The main objective of the BSO Academy is to improve the capacity of Euro-Mediterranean BSOs to provide effective services to SMEs. To achieve this objective, the Academy aims to give BSO participants the tools and knowledge to provide business support services, and ensure that they can apply digital marketing to attract international customers.
Promos Italia will bring to this operation the experts and trainers of its Business School NIBI and its proven expertise in organising training courses on these topics, also in virtual mode via online platforms. In addition, the operation will benefit from the best practices of Promos Italia and the Italian Chambers of Commerce system in supporting SMEs with value-added services for digitisation and internationalisation, such as the DigitExport platform, which offers specialised assistance and training on digital topics, within the PID (Punto Impresa Digitale) network located at the Italian Chamber of Commerce, and the Go2Market platform, which helps SMEs to assess their export capacity, select markets and create an export plan.
