EBSOMED panel highlights the realisations of women entrepreneurs during the XIV MedaWomen in Alexandria
In the framework of the EBSOMED project, ASCAME with its partner AFAEMME, organized, in Alexandria, Egypt, an EBSOMED academy, on 14 October 2022, on the side line of the 2022 edition of the MedaWeek. This edition of the XIV Mediterranean Women Entrepreneur Forum highlights the importance of European youth in building an upgraded future: greener, digital, sustainable, inclusive, and helping the growth of entrepreneurs and start-ups in the Mediterranean region through access to information, contacts, and capital. The XIV Mediterranean Women Entrepreneur Forum main purpose is to advice, guide and support the young women entrepreneurs to achieve their main goals and became the new European entrepreneurs.
The academy was conceived to give young people a wider range of better opportunities for the future. Based on the latest EU Youth Report, which provides an overview of the situation of young Europeans in terms of education, training, learning, employment, and civic and political participation.
The XIV Mediterranean Women Entrepreneur Forum, organizers, in cooperation with the Mediterranean regional and local authorities, stakeholders and young people themselves are reaching to support the generation that has raised during the pandemic, giving them a revitalize initiative by strength and assurance in the future. Accenting the importance of how a greener and digitalize transitions offers renewed perspectives and opportunities.
With also the aim of encouraging, endorsing and inspiring all young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, from disadvantaged backgrounds, or belonging to vulnerable groups. Providing through EU policies for young people support for their personal, social, and professional development.
The EBSOMED project had a high visibility during the event as many panellists highlighted the experiences that they had with the project since its launch in 2018.
