Cette étude vise à fournir une analyse détaillée du secteur de la logistique et des transports dans la région euro-méditerranéenne en décrivant la situation actuelle et les principaux défis auxquels chaque mode de transport est confronté. Le rapport aborde également l'importance économique des relations de commerce et d'investissement euro-méditerranéennes et les moyens de renforcer ces relations par le biais de zones de libre-échange approfondies et complètes. Il vise à fournir un cadre pour la mise en place d'un secteur de la logistique et des transports euro-méditerranéen intégré, multimodal et plus compétitif, et prescrit les conditions préalables, les orientations et les actions prospectives à mener pour atteindre cet objectif et atteindre l'objectif ultime : un espace de transport commun euro-méditerranéen.

This study seeks to provide a detailed analysis of the logistics and transport sector in the Euro-Mediterranean region by outlining the current position and main challenges faced by each mode of transport. The report also tackles the economic importance of the Euro-Mediterranean trade and investment relations and ways of enhancing these relations through deep and comprehensive free trade areas (DCFTAs). It aims at providing a framework for establishing an integrated multimodal and more competitive Euro-Mediterranean logistics and transport sector and prescribes the pre-requisites, guidelines and prospective actions that need to be done in order to achieve this goal and to reach the ultimate objective: a common Euro-Mediterranean transport space.
